Christina flaunts naked bump - 2007-12-04
Christina Aguilera has stripped off for American magazine Marie Claire. The ‘Dirty’ singer will appear in this month’s issue, showing her seven-month bump covered only by an unbuttoned jacket. She explains that her pregnancy wasn’t planned. Aguilera says, "We were planning on starting to try after the (Back to Basics) tour. And so, I had gone off the pill to prepare my body, because I didn't know how much time it would take. "You've heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here. I'm like, 'Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?'" The mother-to-be also claims she was ‘paranoid’ about the future baby’s safety, and decided to use a heart monitor to reduce risks. She says, "I was really paranoid about continuing with the tour. There are so many things that could go wrong - somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall from the circus pinwheel I was on. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardise my baby for my show".

Bratman is worried because she has endless appointments and keeps going in order to not let down her fans; and he is afraid she very demanding. An insider said, “Jordan was hoping Christina would give herself time to just chill out, but her daily business appointments and meetings are endless. Christina doesn’t plan on slowing down just because she is pregnant. Like any pregnant woman she does get tired, but she has told friends she intends to keep going right up until the birth.

Christina Aguilera has finally admitted she is pregnant with her first baby. The singer, who previously avoided commenting on her rising bump, has now confirmed she is expecting a baby for New Year eve. Christina and her husband Jordan Bratman were spotted hitting baby boutiques in Los Angeles on several occasions in recent weeks, but she was locked lips. Talking with Glamour magazine about her plans for New Year, Aguilera says, "That'll be about the time I enter into mommyhood, so ... I'm hoping to have started a beautiful family with my husband!" She also remarks Bratman is overjoyed about becoming father, "Oh, he's thrilled! He's just great."
